The parent representatives represent the interests of the parents and pupils vis-à-vis the school. Detailed information about their tasks is provided at the first parents' evening. Parent representatives are elected by the parents in each class at the beginning of the school year. The parent representatives then elect the chairperson and deputies of the parent council for the current school year.

The most important tasks are:

• deepen the relationship of trust and cooperation between parents and teachers
• to safeguard the parents' interest in the education and upbringing of their child
• to give parents the opportunity to be informed and to debate at special events
• To discuss parents' wishes, suggestions and proposals
